More of a story collector than an investigator, Pinkey nonetheless brings us a worthwhile plethora of interesting paranormal cases from around Australia. Nicely illustrated with sketches and photos, and although at times a little scant on critical detail, pinkney has compiled an interesting collection of tales for the curious.
Along with chapters on ghosts, coincidences, preminitions, and the like, Pinkney dedicates a review of some famous Australian UFO encounters and strange disappearances. He reviews the famous vanishings of sea and aircraft, especially that of Frederick Valentich, the bizzare vanishings of livestock and crops, the startling alien encounter of Bronte LLoyd, a mysterious death near a crop circle, the apparent UFO landing at Westall in country Victoria in 1966, several military encounters, and unusual UFO-related animal mutilations.
