Reminiscent of UFO events over Gosford on New Years of 1995, another UFO event has errupted over the Central Coastal town, with video footage and photos from witnesses. The first witness, a former emergency services staff, contacted PoliceUFO.com on Jan 1, with photos taken taken from the North end of Gosford Bay.
Shortly after 9pm, following the New Year's fireworks along the Gosford waterfront, 5 red brightly lit UFOs appeared over the bay. The event was witnessed by a large crowd of people, and footage was shot from Spears St Point Frederick. One witness reported the UFO was pursued by a police helicopter, a large police boat and 2 speeding boats with blue flashing, although under investigation this has been difficult to substantiate.
A second witness contacted PoliceUFO.com with photos and footage from the South end of Gosford Bay. Both witnesses claim their mobile devices are now damaged in some way.
A couple of hours later, a man captured similar footage from Sydney to the south, and uploaded it to youtube. On Jan 11, at about 5.30pm the key witness claims to have seen a helicopter with what looked like a ufo attached to its underbelly, flying from Kincumber towards East Gosford and towards the same place the new years eve UFOs flew.

Astronomers and police say that flare-like objects seen across a 360km-long stretch of the Top End coast were probably caused by a meteor shower, but highly-qualified UFOologists said they believed the bright lights were something more ominous. Superintendent Bruce Porter said police received many calls at about 9pm on Tuesday and feared a boat was in distress and launched a search. "We took this seriously...", they said.

Farmers in the Adelaide Hills have discovered mutilated animal corpses and burn marks on the ground. The latest claims follow rumors of dozens of sightings of UFOs in the rural areas of Mt Barker and Mt Sterling, about 20km south of Adelaide. In one incident a farmer discovered four cows with holes drilled into their skulls and the brains removed.
Other discoveries include egg-shaped “pod” marks near the property. Rocks were crushed, tree tops burnt and dozens of birds found dead nearby. Police in both areas said they had not been told about the animal mutilations, but many people in the area had reported seeing UFOs and strange lights in the sky.
According to the reports, farmers have been warned to “keep quiet”.
Adelaide UFO researcher Colin Norris of AIUFORA said he had been told to “drop off” after making inquiries into the sightings. Norris said: “The area where the bodies of the cows were found is often used by the army and is closed off. ... I have been told they asked the farmer to remain quiet about the animals and that they would cover the whole thing up. ... If it is all true – and I have no reason to doubt it is not – then it must be checked out because it tallies with similar incidents which have happened all over the world – most of these kinds of incidents are hushed up in one way or another.”
The allegations of official cover-up over UFO-related animal mutilations are consistent with suspicions raised by UFO researcher Richard Jones from PoliceUFO.com, after Brisbane's Radio 4BC failed to release a radio interview segment from October 2009 of him discussing the government's response to alleged UFO-linked animal mutilations.
