Inspired by the Gosford UFO wave on Australia's east coast in 1995-96, Moira McGhee & Bryan Dickeson of INUFOR began to amass and investigate the deluge of reports from around the area, which eventually became "The Gosford Files."
Australia's Central East Coast has a long history of UFO activity, but the events that errupted during 1995-96 celebrations were comparable with some of the most sensational UFO flaps around the world. Officers are mentioned in several cases, but during the great flap, the local police were chasing a strange flying metalic craft back and forth across the bay all night. As residents called to report that they were woken by a thunderous roar and blinding lights, animals howled or cowered and hid, and parties suddenly errupted into anti-social behaviour.
The Gosford Files not only presents a historical overview of UFO cases for the area, it also discusses other interesting happenings in the area, such as the unique Gosford Heiroglyphics recently found in nearby forest. Well illustrated with sketches, diagrams, and black and white photos, this little book is a great addition to the UFO library for the researcher or the merely curious.
