The much anticipated part 2 of the bible of modern UFOlogy is here. Like the first volume, volume 2 is a masterpiece – academic yet thoroughly readable. As he did in the first volume, Dolan covers all the important aspects of UFO history – the politics, civilian groups, the research and all the heavy UFO cases.
UFOs and the National Security State Vol. 2 reviews all the major developments in UFOlogy from 1973 onwards – the emergence of UFO conspiracies, the rise of alien abductions and animal mutilations, the infiltration of civilian groups by the intelligence community, the controversial MJ-12 documents, the Gulf Breeze controversy, the black triangle UFOs being seen around the world, crop circles and the reverse engineering of alien technology. With the fall of the Soviet Union, new information comes forth from the hitherto inaccessable iron curtain, and with black project leaks on the rise, a new and vast image of UFOlogy emerges.
This is a concise history of the phenomenon, the secrecy, and the response by the public and research community, all against the backdrop of a world in technological, economic, and political transformation, and a world in the grip of a national security force more effective than any other at any time in history.
As a recognised historian, and based on all the available evidence, Dolan concludes that UFOs represent advanced technology, most likely extraterrestrial in origin, and that secret organisations with massive budgets know far more than is publicly available, and that in deep secrecy, people are re-engineering UFO technology – an advanced technology that could save the world, if the full truth ever gets out.
